Last night, awards season continued with The Critics Choice Awards. As always, there was the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here’s my take on the “goods!”
This garnet Zuhair Murad gown perfectly compliments Ritter’s coloring, and the touch of sparkles glam it up just enough to make it red-carpet-worthy, but not too over the top!
If you’ve been following my favorite red carpet looks, then you know that for me, a little bit of fluff goes a long way, and to me, this dress is perfection!
In a sea of gowns, Marisa Tomei opted for a Zuhair Murad mini with gorgeous touches of lace.
I have a feeling this ensemble isn’t going to be a favorite of many, but I just love the neutral tone with a subtle splash of color in the belt. The boho-chic feel of this gown is something not many ladies can pull off, and I think Chaikin pulls this off seamlessly!
Ok, let’s be real, January Jones can put a garbage bag on and still end up on a best dressed list. This art-deco inspired Altuzarra gown in powder blue, compliments not only her coloring but her perfect frame.
This textured Mary Katranzou dress is certainly a show-stopper! With all of the embellishments, it looks like this gown may weigh a ton, but it’s certainly worth it!
Another art-deco inspired gown from one of my favorite designers, Monique Lhuillier. This delicate color is worn so well by Beckinsale, how could it not be on a favorite list?
